Veronika Jaklová (2003) started playing the piano at the age of five with teacher Kateřina Pirochová Valkovičová in Prague, Czech Republic. A year later she participated in her first piano competition Prague Junior Note. Since then she has participated in many prestigious international competitions - Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, International competition Amadeus, Broumov key and others. She has won the absolute winner prize in National round of ZUŠ competition of chamber ensembles in Czech Republic. In 2018 Veronika became the Laureate of the competition Young Piano of the Prague Conservatoire and she won the 2nd prize at International Smetana competition, in 2019 she won the 1st prize at the competition Beethoven's Teplice, 2nd prize at international competition Bach's journey and 3rd prize at the Brumov key competition.
Veronika debuted with orchestra „Young musicians“ at the age of 14 with Grieg piano concerto in a minor. She has participated in many masterclasses with professors: Ivan Klánský, Dmitri Bashkirov, Min Kwon, Einar Steen-Nokleberg, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Martin Kasík, Ivo Kahánek, Zbyněk Maruška, Monika Tugendliebová and others.
She currently studies at Prague Conservatoire with Milan Langer.
