Yuqing Li

Yuqing Li, a master student of Erhu major in the Central Conservatory of Music, studied under Associate Professor Xue Yang. She is now a member of the Huqin Professional Committee of the Chinese National Orchestral Society and a member of the "Bow String Dance" ensemble group. In 2012, she won the Bronze Medal in the Professional Group of the Third Liaoning Provincial Musicians Association National Instrumental Music Competition. In 2017, she won the Gold Medal in the Taiwan Finals of the Fourth Asian International Art Competition. In 2019, she won the Gold Award in the Professional Youth Category of the 4th Singapore Raffles Culture and Arts Festival. She has participated in many performances such as Huqin Art Festival and National Arts Festival. In 2016, she went to New Zealand to perform with the Chinese Orchestra of the Central Conservatory of Music.She was Invited to premiere Erhu Concerto "Dream Land" by the Composition Department of China Conservatory of Music in 2019. As a music volunteer teacher, she was sent to the London Confucius Institute at South Bank University as an Erhu teacher. In 2020, she toured at London, Bangor, Brighton, Nottingham and other places. In the same year, she was invited to participate in the Chinese New Year concert at the Royal College of Music as a special guest performer. During school, she composed the erhu ensemble "Maple Leaf" and "Vegetable Picking",she also participated in the recording of CCTV music channel "Fenghua Chinese Music", “Music Dance Collection" and other programs.
