Description
“Arghavan” is a collaboration between Sourena Sefati (composer) and Mojgan Shajarian (singer) in Persian vocal music (Tasnif). The pieces are arranged for different Persian instruments such as Tar, Setar, Bam Tar, Santour, Oud, Kamancheh, Nay, Tombak, and Frame Drums. The poems of the songs are from some of the most famous old and contemporary Persian poets such as Hafez, Sayeh (H. Ebtehaj), and Safiee Kadkani. The album released by Hamrahshow record label in the U.S. in February 2019.
